Katherine Dunn's 'Shadows Of The Crow' painting celebrates the peace that follows after a storm.
Inspired daily by her life on a working farm, Maine artist Katherine Dunn says of her painting, "This was inspired by one of our coastal wind storms that come through often. The winds were so strong that small structures toppled. After the storm, Earnest the pig stood on a mound and observed the new day as crows were flocking and flying all around, as if they had been perched and hiding on broken branches, just waiting to fly again." One-of-a-kind painting created in the USA exclusively for Sundance. Unframed, ready to hang, acrylic on kiln-dried pine board and protective varnish coating. 20"W x 1"D x 24"L.
