These richly colored, textural rugs are truly one-of-a-kind and wonderful examples of repurposing materials that are no longer functional on their own. Each is woven into strips from found textiles. These vintage fabrics are 50 to 60 years old and were used to harvest fruits and grains in villages throughout central and eastern Turkey. Cut and hand-stitched together, the fabrics create these plaid kilim rugs woven from goat hair, sheepswool, cotton and other recycled materials. Each is unique. Imported. 11' x 7'.
