This richly colored, textural rug is truly one-of-a-kind and a wonderful example of repurposing materials that are no longer functional on their own. Each is woven into strips from found textiles. These vintage fabrics are 50 to 60 years old and were used to harvest fruits and grains in villages throughout central and eastern Turkey. Cut and hand-stitched together, the fabrics create this plaid kilim rug woven from goat hair, sheepswool, cotton and other recycled materials. Each is unique. Imported. 6' x 9'.
