fox turquoise triple cuff

Item No. 67793 $1,200.00
Spotlighting three limpid blue ovals from Nevada's Fox mine, Jock Favour fashions a one-of-a-kind cuff from ingot coin silver, obtained by melting pre-1960 coins. The Prescott, Arizona, silversmith has mastered classic Navajo styles and techniques dating from 1868 to the 1930's, clearly evident in this striking cuff contrasting turquoise ovals with silver diamonds, accentuated by a satiny hand burnished oxidized finish. Approximately 1-/2"W tapers to 1/4". 2-1/2" dia. Internet Exclusive.
Similar to Robert Redford’s vision of Sundance, I have always had long-held interest in the myth and magic of the landscape. This passion is witnessed in each painting, sculpture and jewelry design I create. A strong background in anthropology allows me to bring this concept into the creative expression of my design process. Good primitive art has a vitality and human quality that instill a sense of awe and wonder. If my work can catch a note of ancient magic, I have succeeded. —Jock Favour
