Item No. 46250
Inspired daily by her life on a working farm, Maine artist Katherine Dunn layers colors in a way that creates a foggy, dream-like patina in her 'Donkey At Dusk' painting. Of this piece, she says, "My small herd of donkeys will often be out in the early morning, or at dusk in the hotter months, to avoid the heat. They often blend in with the landscape depending on the light that day, but I always find their bodies merge with the land somehow, becoming another organic shape, especially their ears. And they love to eat thistle tops." One-of-a-kind painting created in the USA exclusively for Sundance. Unframed, ready to hang, acrylic on kiln-dried pine board and protective varnish coating. 11"W x 11-1/4"H.
