The process by which our resist-dyed rugs are made relies upon an ancient art. Artisans first paint a sturdy white cotton rug with mud designs, then cover it with sand before dipping the rug in vats of indigo where it takes on rich shades of blue that wax and wane around the painted design. After drying in the sun, the rug is ready for your home. Due to the handmade nature, each rug will feature unique variations of blue. 2-1/2' x 8', 4' x 6', 5' x 7', 6' x 9'.
