Robert Ogden is a magpie-cum-wizard, scouring flea markets, factories and junk shops for the mechanical gizmos and decorative doodads that comprise his fully functional works of art. As he hand-assembles these one-of-a-kind designs, a magical transformation occurssuddenly the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Such is the case with this striking table lamp, crafted with a handmade mirrored shade (inspired by antique originals), a brass finial counterweight salvaged from an old andiron, and vintage plumbing knobs. Designed to swivel and tilt to focus illumination where it's most needed, it rests atop an adjustable base that hails from a 1940s-era paper-trimming machine. 40w max all-new socket and electrical parts. Approx. 27"W x 8-1/2"D x 23 to 38"H.
