From sawtooth bezels to needlepoint turquoise, the details in this 1970s cuff bracelet are exceptional.
Renowned as a master in the art of needlepoint turquoise, Alice Quam worked with her husband and master silversmith Dennis Quam to create some of the finest pieces of Zuni jewelry. In this resplendent 1970s sterling silver cuff bracelet, Alice used Lone Mountain turquoise, expertly cutting, grinding and polishing each piece by hand and arranging them in a flowering cluster design. The years have rendered turquoise into a beautiful array of blues and greens and the silver bears a rich, mellow patina. Truly a collector's piece, the cuff features sterling bead balls, twisted wire detailing and hand-cut sawtooth bezels. One of a kind. Made in USA. 2-3/4" tapers to 7/8"W. 2-1/2" dia.
