Using a hand-powered, pump drill, an artisan from the Santo Domingo Pueblo created this necklace, cutting, drilling and stringing each olive shell heishi bead by hand and interspersing them with tabs of turquoise from New Mexico's Cerrillos Mine, one of the oldest mining sites in North America. The necklace finishes with a traditional wrap of waxed sinew. One-of-a-kind. USA. Approx. 27"L.
