Erika Marie Carter Home Decor Artist
Erika Marie Carter's paintings are rooted in her travels to Central Mexico over the past 20 years. Her grandparents immigrated from Central Mexico to the US circa 1915. Felix and Ester started and raised their family in California. Felix was a groundskeeper of a prominent estate where Erika and her siblings explored winding pathways and secret gardens. The architecture and colors and textures of the flora and fauna were imprinted on her imagination. These memories and the influence of Mexican Culture are expressed in her paintings rendered in acrylic on wood/tin.
