Pretty necklace butI was expecting the stone color to be red as in the catalouge, it was rather so dark that you could barely tell it is a red stone.

If you're a garnet fan, this is just beautiful! The garnets rondelles are a gorgeous deep red, and the pendant has a definite artisan look. It has a chunky feel, yet does not look chunky on. My only complaint (and why I only gave a 4 rating) is the clasp - a lobster clasp would be much better. This has one of those hook clasps that doesn't hold extremely well - It fell off twice when I was adjusting my scarf (it's winter, and I do like a wool scarf with my coat). Other than that, it's beautiful and I plan to wear it often - but also plan to be very careful...

I purchased this necklace for my daughter. She had expected the necklace to have more of a red color. She also did not realize it was a choker. The poor quality of this necklace certainly didn't warrant the high price. We were both disappointed and returned it. Overall, Sundance jewelery appears on the website and catalog to be very appealing, however, 2 pieces of jewelery which I have ordered has changed my mind due to the poor quality once I saw them and handled them.
