My new favorite necklace

I have looked at this necklace for years in the catalog, and its appeal has never diminished. Purchasing it was a gift to myself for Christmas. When it arrived, I was even more pleased than with the catalog view. In person, it is daintier than it appears in the picture, and was immediately more attractive to me. For many years I have worn a silver chain (which I NEVER take off) with a pendant created by a local artist, consisting of a small local stone wrapped in silver wire. When this linen-bead necklace arrived, however, I knew that I wanted it to become an 'everyday' piece as well, so I added my pendant to it, and I now have a very unique piece of jewelry that has drawn many comments in the week since it arrived. I even had a jewelry maker ask me to take it off so that he could photograph it! I am very happy with the purchase, even though it was a bit pricey. If it holds up to the test of time, I will never regret buying it! (Because it is linen, however, I do not wear it in the shower). If you buy it I hope you will enjoy yours as much as I do mine.
