Due to the large size and weight of furniture shipments, most pieces are shipped by a freight company. You will be notified by mail 2-3 weeks before delivery, and the carrier will contact you by phone to set up a 4 hour window for the appointment. Deliveries are Monday through Friday. These shipments are delivered through your doorway. Because home furnishings, rugs, lamps and other large items are heavier and bulkier than most, shipping costs are higher. A delivery surcharge has been added to these items; this charge is listed in parentheses ($) after the product price and is in addition to the order shipping charges. All shipping rates apply to deliveries in the contiguous 48 states; shipping rates to Alaska, Hawaii, US Possessions and foreign countries require a quote. I thought they might be a bit special and unusual, however they were just more bland in their style and they have a very sharp lip in the glass that makes them uncomfortable to drink out of. They are however, very sturdy and strong.

Not what I expected from photo

I had some great Mexican glasses from bottles some time ago from a retail store. They were not as heavy and were pleasant drinking glasses and around the same price.

When I received these I was very disappointed. They are heavy, look like a cheap bottle. The rim is not enjoyable to drink from and they don't feel pleasant. The photo in my catalog doesn't show the rough and sharp rim and thickness and the character of the glasses. They have not been annealed properly. You can tell by the mold parting line. I would have returned them but it's not worth the bother. I hope most of what I paid goes to a good cause because a jar for drinking would be as good! Try drinking from one yourselves.

Nice to have recycled glasses, but...

I finally gave up my bonne mamman jelly jars and thought I'd replace them with these recycled glasses. I love the concept, and the design is nice and sturdy, as well, but each of the glasses has a small ridgeline running down the sides. It's just a small thing, but it seems like it would have been easy enough to remove. Wanted to bring this to the attention of other buyers. I still love these glasses, but in hindsight, I might have spent a little more for the recycled wine bottle glasses, instead.

Charming!

These glasses due have a seam and a "larger" lip than I expected and I did consider returning them. I am so glad I did not. I love to use these at breakfast or brunch as they are great for juice and water. They are simply charming!
