You will be notified by mail 2-3 weeks before delivery, and the carrier will contact you by phone to set up a 4 hour window for the appointment. Deliveries are Monday through Friday. These shipments are delivered through your doorway. Because home furnishings, rugs, lamps and other large items are heavier and bulkier than most, shipping costs are higher. A delivery surcharge has been added to these items; this charge is listed in parentheses ($) after the product price and is in addition to the order shipping charges. Beautiful dishes

We purchased a set of these dishes to go with a set of three recycled glass serving bowls with the same light green tint that we've had for years. The plates are super! They're beautiful and very well made. They have a heavy and substantial feel to them and have proven to be quite durable so far.

We like them so much, we've ordered a couple more sets of the plates, bowls, etc to make them our main dinner set. They work great for a formal table setting or a casual meal at home and go great with our casual, beachy decor.

Only negatives are that the dishes are not dishwasher safe, so,you have to hand wash them. Be careful though, as the dishes can get quite slippery being polished glass and all.

i like the old coke bottle color of this product. take care when washing, tho. extremely slippery when wet and soapy. i liked them a lot when this was called the del sol collection. they used to have pretty, raised suns on the edge. bring those back!

I bought this set to replace some of the ones I broke in the microwave because I really love their looks. Had used them in the micro before for short zaps, but trying to cook bacon was too much for them...so don't even try it.
