This is supposed to be a Christmas gift, but I am afraid to give it to the person who saw it in the catalog and begged to receive as a gift. The picture certainly makes the earrings appear to look like a class act. Instead they feel and look like cheap costume jewelry. Very disappointed and will be sending them back after the holiday.

Loved the style, but they were not all 14k gold

I love the style of these earrings, however I was very disappointed when I received them because inferior metal was obviously used to solder them. This was obvious in the "joints" which were a lighter metal color and there were also a few areas on the hoop part that holds the ruby that were much lighter than gold. I returned them, sadly, and now have to wait the 3 or so weeks before the credit will appear on my credit card statement. These should not be advertised as 14k gold because obviously they are not all 14k gold.
