Not As Big As I Expected

I had been looking at this watch a long time before I put it on my Christmas list. I was shocked when I opened it on Christmas morning and saw how small it was! I expected a much larger watch.
I agree with the previous reviewer that the leather strap could be of a higher quality. I also think the silver strap buckle could be a little thicker. Even though it looks like a sturdy watch, this isn't a watch I would wear everyday. However, it is still a pretty, unique watch, and I enjoy wearing it. I'm glad I received it as a gift, but because of quality issues, I only gave it 3 stars.

I bought this watch a year or more ago after looking at it on line for quite some time. Ultimately I was disappointed. The leather is stiff, and the watch seems cheap. I do wear it occasionally, but it is not very comfortable.

Really disappointing purchase for a Sundance product and such a steep price. It's beautiful to look at, but certainly not a watch one can wear everyday. I've had it for six months, and I've nearly lost the watch face itself at least a dozen times b/c the snaps that hold the face onto the leather won't stay closed. The silver around the watch face is scuffed beyond belief. And I just had to pay to have the glass replaced on the watch front because it was so cracked I couldn't read the watch. For a stiff $180 and a description of "rugged", this is a ridiculously fragile piece. It's my first Sundance jewelry purchase, and I'm not sure I'll be ponying up so much $$ again for anything else based on my experiences with this one.

I love this watch. It has a beautiful sterling case, and the turquoise face is lovely. The band is rich and sturdy, and it has enough holes in it so that it fits my wrist perfectly because I do have a small wrist. The numbers are easy to read.
