great earrings

I was surprised to see that these have gotten mixed reviews. Mine were a gift from my wonderful partner who has seen me admiring them for many months. They are substantial but not heavy and artsy/handcrafted without being too boho for everyday. I enjoy wearing them and so does my partner, and have found them to be versatile and flattering. I would definitely recommend.

Strange but, I didn't like these when they arrived. I very rarely am disappointed by Sundance, but the finish of these was poor. They really looked like they had been punched out of a sheet and did not have smoothed edges. They didn't even make it out of the box.

Pretty but overpriced

I really like the overall look of these earrings and was pleased with the size -not so large as to look overbearing. I would agree though with other reviewers that the quality does not match the price. The silver is brushed, which I did not expect, so it looks more like a soft pewter. I would prefer a shinier surface. I can also see where the latch will eventually be problematic, sticking etc.
