Absolutely stunning. I am so happy to have it!!!The stone is a deep blue.Although it is a little big size wise, I have placed two heirloom wedding rings as ring guards with it and they look very elegant .

a beautiful romantic ring

The first ring I ordered was indeed very dark, almost black, as one reviewer suggests and it had a flaw on the top facet of the stone; the silver setting however was lovely and really earned the romantic "Turn of the Century" label. I called Customer Service to see if another size 5 was available(which it was) and asked if perhaps they could make a notation to select one with a bluer stone as pictured. I was not disappointed with the second ring!!! It was beautiful, far better than the picture--a rich violet blue clear stone with a gorgeous sparkle. It truly looks like a fine blue sapphire. I am not only giving the ring a 5-star rating, but the customer service as well. There was a handwritten notation on the invoice that they had selected the "bluest available". They did well with their selection and have my thanks and appreciation.
