Originating around 1920 for ceremonial wear, this historically valuable one-of-a-kind necklace was made at Santo Domingo Pueblo in New Mexico. Heishi beads of clam and wampum shell were pump drilled and cut by hand, strung with colorful turquoise and spiny oyster shell into five strands, fastened with a traditional closed wrap. USA.
