Sundance was founded in 1969 by Robert Redford at the base of beautiful 12,000-foot Mount Timpanogos in Utah's Wasatch Mountains. The goal of the Sundance Village is to offer a community art and nature that would foster artistic pursuits and recreational activity while preserving naturally beautiful and unique environment of Sundance. The first edition of Sundance Catalog was mailed in 1989 to offer "the kinds of things that we have been privileged to collect, many of them handcrafted exclusively for Sundance."

Director of Marketing & Circulation

Sundance Catalog Company has an excellent opportunity for a Director of Marketing and Circulation at our corporate office located in the Salt Lake City, Utah.

Director of Marketing and Circulation Overview:

Plans, organizes, directs, provides leadership, and works closely with the VP of Marketing to develop and recommend overall catalog marketing and circulation strategy for a multi-title and cross-channel environment, keeping both short and long-term business objectives in mind.

Director of Marketing and Circulation Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required, MBA in Marketing and Management preferred
  • Must have 10 years related experience
  • Catalog experience preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills required with an emphasis in Excel
  • Tableau and SQL experience preferred
  • Must have a strong background in B2C marketing

Director of Marketing and Circulation Responsibilities

  • Oversees and develops customer acquisition programs and ensures these programs are within customer lifetime value goals
  • Directs and mentors circulation manager and analysts to assure efficient and profitable execution of circulation and sales plan
  • Works closely with the VP of Merchandising and the DMMs in integrating the merchandising and marketing strategies to achieve business demand and financial goals
  • Supports the Finance area with the appropriate catalog costs associated with each cost center within the circulation area
  • Develops order trends that will allow accurate projections within 10 days of a catalog drop with a 95% confidence level
  • Develops consistent marketing sales and customer reports for business decision-making support (by using the data warehouse Tableau and SQL)
  • Develops and maintains budgets as it relates to catalog marketing and circulation area
  • Develops on-line customer surveys

Sundance Catalog Company has an excellent opportunity for a Sales Associate at our Outlet retail store located in Salt Lake City, UT.

Sales Associate Overview

The Sales Associate partners with store management to drive sales by persistent attention to detail in assisting and selling goods to customers. You will also offer general support to the management team regarding visual merchandising, ensuring merchandise is stocked appropriately and the store is clean at all times.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required, Associates preferred
  • Experience with an apparel premium brand retailer preferred
  • Experience in an environment where customers service is highly regarded a must
  • Computer literacy including the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Customer service is key…we are here to enhance the customer experience by outfitting them
  • Tell the product story, features and benefits of both our jewelry and merchandise
  • Inform customers of our website and catalog, offering to put them on our mailing list

Stock Lead

Sundance is looking for a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our team in a part-time capacity as a Stockroom Lead at our retail store located in Corte Madera, CA.

Job Overview:

The Stock Lead oversees the flow of merchandise into and out of the store. They also provide general support to the management team, sales associates, and customers; ensuring merchandise is stocked appropriately and the stockroom is clean at all times.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all merchandise is accurately tagged
  • Process all incoming/outgoing shipments including packing/unpacking items
  • Assist with daily maintenance of stock levels on the sales floor
  • Ensure all stock discrepancies are reported and resolved immediately
  • Effectively participate in the preparation and completion of all inventories
  • Maintain stockroom in an efficient, clean, secure, organized and accessible manner
  • Assist on sales floor as needed

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 6-12 months of related experience required
  • Experience with an apparel premium brand retailer preferred
