Our Product Story
Elegant, beautiful and durable, linen is the refined luxury fabric. It is also the strongest of the vegetable fibers and has 2 to 3 times the strength of cotton. Not only is the linen fiber strong, it is smooth and lint free. The more it is used and washed, the softer and stronger it becomes. Table cloths and napkins made of linen have long been cherished heirlooms, handed down from generation to generation.
One of the oldest textile fibers known to man, silk has been used by the Chinese since the 27th century BC. Silk, mentioned by Aristotle, became a valuable commodity in both Greece and Rome. In fact, during the Roman Empire, silk sold for its weight in gold. Today, silk remains another word for elegance, and silk garments are prized for their versatility, wearability and comfort.
