Our Product Story
Polyester is the most widely used manufactured fiber in the Unites States. Woven polyester fabrics are used for apparel and home furnishings. Polyester is a synthetic fiber produced by the polymerization, the product formed when an alcohol and organic acid react. The outstanding characteristic of polyesters is their ability to resist wrinkling and to spring back into shape when creased giving them an advantage over natural fabrics.
Rayon is one of the most peculiar fabrics in commercial use today. Strictly speaking, it is not an artificial fiber, because it is derived from naturally occurring cellulose. It is not, however, a natural fabric, because cellulose requires extensive processing to become rayon. Rayon is usually classified as a manufactured fiber and considered to be "regenerated cellulose".
Spandex enhances the best qualities of whatever fabric it's blended with, resulting in a smoother silhouette, a curvier shape, a more fluid, flattering line.
