Our Product Story
The word corduroy probably is derived from the French phrase "cord du roi," meaning "king's cord." Corduroy is a strong and durable fabric generally made of cotton, with a plain or twill weave foundation. During the weaving process, the fibers are cut differently and brushed up to form the pile in ridges or cords.
Spandex enhances the best qualities of whatever fabric it's blended with, resulting in a smoother silhouette, a curvier shape, a more fluid, flattering line.
