Our Product Story
Most of the world's cotton is grown using significant quantities of pesticides and synthetic fertilizers. These inputs, along with many conventional agricultural practices, contribute to soil depletion and environmental degradation. Many of the environmental and social impacts associated with cotton production can be reduced or eliminated through the use of organic cotton cultivation practices.
Cotton is cool, soft, comfortable and the principal clothing fiber of the world. Polyester is a manufactured product made from synthesized polymers. It tends to be very resilient, quick drying, easy to wash, and able to hold forms well. Polyester fabrics may exhibit other advantages over natural fabrics to improve wrinkle resistance. Since cotton wrinkles, polyester is sometimes added to give it wash and wear properties for a busy world. As a result, polyester fibers are often spun together with natural fibers like cotton to produce a cloth with some of the better properties of each.
