Polyester fabrics may exhibit other advantages over natural fabrics to improve wrinkle resistance. Since cotton wrinkles, polyester is sometimes added to give it wash and wear properties for a busy world. As a result, polyester fibers are often spun together with natural fibers like cotton to produce a cloth with some of the better properties of each.
