Rayon is a manufactured regenerated cellulosic fiber. Because it is produced from naturally occurring polymers, it is neither a truly synthetic fiber nor a natural fiber; it is a semi-synthetic fiber.
Georgette is a sheer, lightweight fabric, made of silk or a synthetic fiber such as polyester. It is soft and drapeable, with a lightly pebbled, crêpe texture. Most often used in blouses, dresses, skirts, evening wear and lingerie.
