50-60 years old Kilims were hand woven in village homes for domestic use, the looms were narrow therefore the rugs are made larger by hand stitching several long narrow pieces together all the colors come from natural wools and goat wools except for the colorful stitching.
Goat wools are used for strength running vertical up and down the length as warp threads making each rug unique and very durable.
