Back in the day of Adirondack great camps, the summering well-to-do plied the crystal clear waters in boats just like this. Crafted by John Henry Rushton in 1892, our 15'4" guide-boat is a rare and wondrous work of art, painstakingly restored to pristine original condition by Vintage Canoeworks. Everything from stem to stern is a joy to behold, from the cedar planking and white ash gunwales to the scrolled brass oarlocks and hand-caned black cherry seats. The cedar wood hull has been repainted its original black; known as "Black Snakes of the Adirondacks", these boats were often painted black for night hunting (though you don't have to use it for that endeavor). Equipped with three seats and one set of white ash oars. 38" beam, 14" depth. Delivery charge is extra.
