Our Product Story
Made from recycled license plates, this super-sized piece was inspired by Aaron Foster's own collection of vintage school maps and love of old metal. He handcuts and assembles all pieces by hand using plate ranging from recent to as any as 50 years old.
More than 100 types of conifers are indigenous to North America, which partly explains the prevalence of pine furnishings. These evergreens, which have needles and produce cones, are our most valuable wood source, as they provide much of the lumber used in building. The sap from some species can be made into turpentine. Pine is a soft wood, valued for its availability, durability and distinct grain pattern, as well as its casual, often rustic look.
