Our Product Story
Amazonite is a gemstone variety of a feldspar mineral, ranging in color from yellow-green to blue-green. It is usually opaque and can show fine white streaks. Although its name is derived from the Amazon river, the stone is mined in Brazil, Colorado, Canada, Italy and the Ural mountains of Russia.
Amazonite is sometimes confused with jade or aquamarine. Some credit it with improving the skin, easing fear and anxiety and providing balance to one's thoughts and communications. Others say amazonite makes married life happier.
Sterling silver is a white, highly reflective precious metal composed of 925 parts of pure silver and 75 parts alloy, usually copper. Copper provides the silver with sufficient hardness and wearing qualities, as pure silver is too soft to be used or worn everyday. Sterling silver is used in a wide variety of jewelry for a beautiful polished look.
