Our Product Story
The history of the Blundstone Company goes back to the 1850s, although the official Blundstone Company was created in 1902, when the footwear business of the John Blundstone family merged with the James Cuthbertson family footwear business. Since 1870, Blundstone Footwear has been known for its tough, no-nonsense footwear, created for one of the world's toughest climates in Tasmania. Having survived droughts, floods, world wars and the rigors of the harsh Australian climate for over 130 years, Blundstone boots have become go-anywhere, do-anything legends.
