Jane Diaz sees each of her handmade pieces as an expression of her life experiences. Her academic focus on fine art, anthropology and dance was born of a longtime passion for ritual and ornamentation. Together, her interests led her from New York City to Nepal, where traditional metalworking techniques inspired her original designs. More than 20 years later, Nepali artisans still craft her entire collection of wearable ornaments, each a one-of-a-kind celebration of art and culture.
